1. We have a No Smoking policy at Carters Rest.



2. The Guest House and Self Catering accommodation will be available from 3pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 10.00 a.m. on day of departure.



3. Payment can be made by cash, cheque, or credit card (3% added surcharge for credit cards).
   
   
4. Provisional bookings can be made online, by telephone, fax or letter, followed by a 25% deposit within 14 days.

Cancellation Policy

Please Note: 1 NIGHT STAYS ARE PAYABLE IN FULL AT TIME OF BOOKING.

All other bookings will require 25% deposit.

Should you need to cancel your reservation the following conditions apply:

Please note: in times of adverse weather (heavy snow) we will waive the below penalties even at short notice.

Cancellation 28 days prior to the start of your visit - The deposit is not refundable unless we can re-let, in which case we will always refund.
Cancellation 14 days prior to the start of your visit - 30% of the total tariff
Cancellation 48 hours prior to the start of your visit - 50% of the total tariff
No cancellation warning - 100% of the total tariff

It is always recommended that Travel Insurance is taken out to cover all eventualities.
