Terms and Conditions for Carters Rest Guesthouse
We have a strict No Smoking policy at Carters Rest. Guests found infringing this policy will be asked to leave.
The Guest House and Self Catering accommodation will be available from 4pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 10.00 a.m. on day of departure.
Payment can be made by cash, or credit cards. Please note all credit cards and foreign debit cards are subject to a 2% fee. Cheques are accepted for advance deposits only.
Provisional bookings can be made online, by telephone, email or letter. Card details, cheque, or bank transfer, will be required to secure the room. We do not accept American Express.
Please Note: 1 NIGHT STAYS ARE PAYABLE IN FULL AT TIME OF BOOKING.
All other bookings require a 25% deposit.(subject to owner's discretion and notification by email)

Should you need to cancel your reservation the following conditions apply:
Cancellation up to 60 days prior to the start of your visit - 25% of the total tariff unless we can re-let
Cancellation 28 days prior to the start of your visit - 50% of the total tariff unless we can re-let
Cancellation 14 days prior to the start of your visit - 100% of the total tariff unless we can re-let
It is always recommended that Travel Insurance is taken out to cover all eventualities.
